Summary
We developed a multi-storey, volumetric, modular building system with our client, QUBE. Factory construction allows for quality control, shorter on-site construction times, and reduced site disruption. The modules are delivered to the site with pre-installed exterior cladding and interior finishes to be assembled into the final building form. The system was applied to a mixed-use (commercial/residential) project in a tight infill site in the Cedar Cottage neighbourhood in Vancouver.
