Nolan joined Checkwitch Poiron Architects in 2026. His experience in planning, together with his architectural education at the University of British Columbia, gives him a strong understanding of how buildings relate to their broader context, regulatory environment, and the communities they serve.
Before joining CPA, Nolan worked as a planner with MHBC Planning and Urban Design, gaining experience in planning and urban design. He was also part of the team that designed and fabricated The Perch, a structure for public gathering and viewing the coastal landscape.
At CPA, Nolan contributes to projects through 3D modelling, architectural visualization, technical drawing, and construction documentation. Working closely with project leads, he develops design concepts into coordinated digital models and detailed architectural information, contributing across both design and technical phases of projects.
Outside the office, Nolan is interested in automotive sports, particularly Formula Drift, as well as thrifting and staying active through a range of physical activities.
